Bio: Born in Bolivia as Steven B. Cespedes now known as the Artist MAXIMO, he was brought to the United States by his supporting mother while sacrificing her own career as a nurse. As most Latino families seek in coming to America, Mrs. Cespedes’ intent and goal was to provide a better life and prosperous future for her son and her family. Having lived in CA for only 3 years, Houston, Texas would now become MAXIMO’S new and permanent home. “I’ve always loved music,” says MAXIMO, “I remember at the age of 6 asking my mother how music was written, because I wanted to learn how to do it for myself.” His family always knew about his love for music especially when he played drums on his mother’s pots and pans.
