Bio: Baltimore Born Funk/Rock Guitarist/ Composer: Greg Coleman, was very active in local funk bands in the early 70’s & 80’s. He performed and arranged many crowd pleasing renditions of songs that were popular at the time. He also composed original songs, (sometimes right on stage in the middle of a performance), that were well received by the audience in attendence.

Because of his abilities, he was a very sought after musician by many of the local groups that were perfoming in East Baltimore at the time. His performance credits include: Guitarist, vocalist, arranger, and composer with: “Just Because”, ”Passion Plus”, “Breeze”, and his most notable, ”Earth Quake”, where he was known as “Doctor Funk”, because of his funky rhythmic guitar style.

Greg Coleman is now back on the music scene with his debut CD "Smooth Like You Like It!", and has every intention of taking his act from local to regional, and from regional to national prominence.
