Hailing from South Memphis, the self-proclaimed "King of Memphis R&B" is here to take throne as music entity. Fueled by today's urban music market, Johnniemane comes to challenge everyone; lyrically, musically, spiritually. He believes that many artists today lack creativity and versatility in their craft, as well as lost the essence of what R&B used to be. But, instead of using old school techniques of crooning and piping soul ballads, Johnniemane has fused a new sound; "Crunk R&B", which mixes soulful melodies with grimy rap beats.
